GIG Dates for September

Let me know obout these dates..if they work.. The dates for Bar 169 good for originals, the paying party gig good for our chops on the standard sets..

Sept 23rd or September 24th
@9pm 169 Bar 169 East Broadway NYC

guys are you OK with this date, I need to confirm it, i sent the info out about the how this place des there deal, did anyone read it besides Jay?

Sept 30th - Private Party, NJ AFT gig 2-6pm

Still working on this to confirm, date subject now, its in Essex County.. not sure on the venue, but i assume a back yard house party

going on the original theme

this all started with jons keep it simple process of mental belimia, so i guess i ow'd it to him for making the call on this "epipany" of thought process for orginals and structure. Allthough i had this in mind for a while, my brain was mildy interrupted with all the cool cover we were playing and the fact that we were getting paid for gigs... however with the direction is set for the balance of 2006. and I think if we can pull this together, I would like to have the CD done by Dec 1st. Most important is the song choice.. keep it simple just 10 songs... allthough we have 20 or more, the top 10 need to get out first. Here they are with comments

1. Wont let go- format ready
2. Particular condition- format ready
3. Funkadelia- Format unknown, we have plenty of performanaces and we can pick something that we all like
4. America Debutant- format ready
5. My blue car- Format ready however pacing speed is in question
6. Meld me- format ready with the exception of the chorus load relook
7. Poor tomoorow- love the format from the last gig, lets run with that version
8. Breathing Life- this song still needs a bridge
9. Your the one- need to bring the bridge back in
10 Dspace- this will be the hardest one, no format at all, will have to do the same as funkadeila

as far as your songs:

I think the best way to review the songs..would be to not so much chart the songs but to get the lyrics together and write the chords on top on the lyrics. That way, if you could play the song .. say acoustically or record it real simple I could play along.. as long as you can record it somehow.

What do you think.
